“ALL JEWS MUST DIE!”
46-year old Robert Bowers got up this morning, likely had breakfast and brushed his teeth. He posted a couple items on his GAB account, loaded his gun, and allegedly headed out the door to kill Jews.
He allegedly went to the Squirrel Hill, PA, Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where a bris was being performed. Early estimates say he allegedly managed to kill eight worshipers and injuring six, including police.
“Suspect talking about all these Jews need to die. We’re still communicating with him,” said one officer on the dispatch audio. A short time later, another officer followed up with a similar disturbing comment.
“The suspect is talking about killing Jews. He doesn’t want any of them to live,” said another officer. One officer said the shooter claimed to be heading to his vehicle when he “engaged officers responding.”
As soon as it was known he was taken alive, it was clear that this was a white guy, not an Islamic terrorist, not an African-American being pulled over for a broken taillight and then being killed because he reached for a cell phone.
Robert Bowers had an account on GAB since there are some things that even Twitter doesn’t allow. The account has since been deleted, but not before it was archived.
President Trump likes to roil up his fan base by invoking the lie that George Soros and Democrats arranged the caravan of migrants — now over 1,000 miles away from the US/Mexico border — by paying people to join the group.
Soros is a supporter of HIAS (Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society).
Six days ago, HIAS offered a statement of support for the Latin American migrants seeking asylum in the United States.

Apparently, that was just too much for Robert Bowers to bear.
He said on his deleted GAB account that he’s no fan of Trump. But he sure took action within days of Trump’s calling out of George Soros as being the financier of the caravan.
He also wrote several hours before the shooting in a comment thread, “For the record, I did not vote for him nor have I owned, worn or even touched a maga hat.”
In a post two days before the mass shooting, “Trump is a globalist, not a nationalist. There is no #MAGA as long as there is a kike infestation. #Qanon is here to get patriots that were against martial law in the 90’s to be the ones begging for it now to drain muh swamp. But go ahead and keep saying you are #Winning.”
The right wing apologists will point to Bowers’ apparent disapproval of Trump as evidence that the hatred pumped by Trump had nothing to do with today’s massacre. They must not be allowed to hide behind the fact that Bowers apparently acted because Trump didn’t go far enough.
The right wing hate being fanned by President Donald Trump is a direct cause of the actions of Cesar Sayoc, the #MAGABomber. That hate may have given Bowers the inspiration to carry out the attack he allegedly carried out today.
Americans of all reasonable political viewpoints need to reclaim the high ground and reject this madness. We do this by rejecting its main messenger and the party that enables him.
The #MAGABomber tried to assassinate Trump’s enemies. GABby Rob Bowers told his followers that he “was going in” because Trump wasn’t going far enough.
