Robert Kerns, the former head of the Montgomery County Republican Party in Pennsylvania, will take his sexual assault case to trial before a judge, after he waived his right to a jury trial, according to Main Line Times.
Kerns faces two counts of aggravated indecent assault without consent, two counts of indecent assault without consent, one count of indecent assault of an unconscious person and one count of simple assault.
The charges against him were stem from an incident in October, 2013, that took place at a Kern’s law office. He was accused of drugging the victim, a paralegal at his law firm, and then raping her.
“The fact this was an employee led her to have trust in him. Getting into a car with her boss and having him drive her to a location was not something unusual and I think any one of us can understand that. She did not think there was any danger because this was a person she trusted.” Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Ferman told CBS Philadelphia at the time of the arrest.
Kerns pleaded not guilty to the four sexual assault charges back in June 26 after waiving his formal arraignment.
Damn! So many of these clowns either were or are party officials. I wonder how many “republican wives” vote otherwise when alone in the voting booth?

Are there any Kennedys in politics anymore? Ted Kennedy has been dead for over 5 years. So I am not sure how the Kennedys are really relevant. It’s not like they’re a big player in the current political climate. You never even hear about them. They certainly haven’t been on any ballots I’ve seen.
They are relevant by name alone, anytime you whisper the magic name everyone remembers when this or that happened. I am surprised so many people are getting busted now, what happened when the incidents actually happened? Are we making up for lost time in doing the right thing?
