As word crosses the wires that an individual has been arrested and will be charged in the slow-motion assassination attempt on two former presidents, a former vice president, a former First Lady/Secretary of State/Presidential Candidate, Democratic senators and members of Congress, a former attorney general, a liberal financier, a former CIA director, a former director of national intelligence and a movie star, all of whom are critics of President Donald Trump, all of whom have been publicly vilified by the president, that same president bemoans that all of this “bomb stuff” has slowed Republican momentum in the approaching mid-tem election.
Republicans are doing so well in early voting, and at the polls, and now this “Bomb” stuff happens and the momentum greatly slows – news not talking politics. Very unfortunate, what is going on. Republicans, go out and vote!

The tweet seems to echo the deflection being spread among Trump supporters that the whole #MAGAbombing is nothing more than an attempt by Democrats to make Republicans look bad and to divert from the issues Trump and his supporters would rather be the object of media focus.
As we learn more this afternoon about the person arrested for this act of domestic terrorism, the more hollow these right wing protestations will prove to be. Right now, police in Plantation, Florida, are hooking up a van reportedly belonging to the suspect. The van is covered with right wing bumper stickers, pictures of President Trump, a presidential seal, and other #MAGA indicators.
