Today President Obama rejected a presidential permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. He stated: “America’s now a global leader when it comes to taking serious action to fight climate change. And frankly, approving this project would have undercut that global leadership. And that’s the biggest risk we face, not acting.” He added that now was time to act to “protect the one planet we’ve got while we still can.”
Joining us live from the Keystone (Light) XL pipeline is James Rustad (along with Sarah Palin, Dick Cheney, Mitt Romney, and “Climate Changing Zombie”) to sing his “Hey Hey Oil Industry” song!

Hey Hey Oil Industry
How much carbon did you burn today?
We’re gonna take your reserves away
and keep them in the ground
Keystone XL pipeline carries dirty tarsand oil
Jeopardizes public health
Our water sources soiled
Hell no we won’t go
Where dirty oil spills and flows
BP spilled 200 million gallons in the Gulf
Hey Hey oil industry
How much carbon did you burn today?
We’re gonna take your reserves away
And keep them in the ground
Big oil had tea today with Romney, Palin, and Cheney
Deregulate the industry to fuel the war machinery
Pentagon went all the way with Cheney and Halliburton
Spent trillions of dollars on the war – economy is hurtin’
Hey Hey oil industry
How much carbon did you burn today?
We’re gonna take your reserves away
and keep them in the ground
Oil companies do anything to become wealthy
Dump CO2 in the atmosphere this is not healthy
“Hey Hey Oil Industry”

Tar sands oil moved across the U. S. in the Keystone pipeline, benefits no one but Canadian environmental rapists, and Texas oil refiners. This is a very good day.
