On Yesterday’s Hagee Hotline broadcast, John issued a warning to America that the Ebola virus was God’s punishment judgment on America for President Obama’s  failure to support Israel. How much longer must we endure the extremist Christian right’s views on disease, famine and pestilence affecting America, and then showing us this vengeful God who wants to punish us while at the same time trying to shove down our throats a hateful God that just wants us dead? Isn’t it time for these old farts to be put out to the cornfield for their continued attempts to shove their viewpoints on why we must be punished by their God for not supporting some religious cause, nation state or belief? Yet these Christian extremists continue to make millions off of poor helpless saps who buy into their bullshit memes. God sure is a money maker for these nutcases.

  1. I really can’t stand it when people try to push their religion onto other people. Some people are just way too pushy with it. I do think people have a right to believe in whatever they want to believe in, but you shouldn’t try to force your beliefs onto others.

  2. I could never understand – are they really that misinformed? Or are they just bored and thought it would be fun to fool a couple of thousand people by feeding them religious bullshit? They are doing a pretty good job either way!

  3. Everything bad that happens in the world is that mysterious person in the sky looking down on us and judging us. I thought I read somewhere in the good book that we should not be judging, so why are we being judge? Seriously though, I have to laugh it off when I read stuff like this.

  4. I have met a lot of religious people and some don’t preach their religion on you, while others that seems to be all they can talk about. Not everyone comes from the same background so not everyone is going to believe in the same thing. We are all different and not everything in this world happens because of one person punishing those who are sinful.

  5. It’s all about control. Every disaster is an opportunity for them to instill fear in their followers and maybe win over some new converts to whatever particular denomination of Christianity they claim to be.

  6. I’m really fed up with religious organizations taking something tragic and warping it into their own agenda. I don’t believe God is using anything to punish us. That is absolutely absurd thing to believe it. If you are a Christian and you believe that, shame on you!
