Arr! It be Talk Like a Pirate Day. Ye olde tradition was created nineteen years ago this day by John Baur (Ol’ Chumbucket) and Mark Summers (Cap’n Slappy) of Oregon.   1. These photos are adorable. I really like the one of the dog with the chest on his back, that one must have taken some time to create. I never knew that this day existed. My kids will love this day when it comes back next year, since who doesn’t love to talk like a pirate anyway?

  2. How did I miss this day? I love the picture of the cat and the frog dressed up like pirates. I wonder how they got these animals to stay still for so long to get that perfect shot? Whenever I try to dress up my cat, he freaks out and rips everything off.
